Commander Keen - OCRemix

Nov 12, 2004

If you're not a total toddler, you'll remember Commander Keen: the cool 2D platform game starring a boy on a pogostick. With cool music.

I stumbled on this a while, and it's brought back tons of memories. A remix of the Commander Keen theme!

I told ya ocremix was good!

Didn't I? Didn't I?

And yeah, Commander Keen rules :) Though I only mostly played 4, the other adventures didn't seem to be as good as it.

I loved those Commander Keen games. I remember two years ago I downloaded all the episodes I missed & played through them in a week. Ah, the memories. Now I want to play the original Duke Nukem games.

Keen rules

The keen commander series was to the '90 PC what Super Mario Bros. was to the NES: a master piece of entertainment. Pogo stick, stunning gun and switches/keys everywhere combined with refined level design and being killed on first hit made it an extremely challenging game.

I miss that age where there was "easy - normal - hard" mode selection for the games that could make the same game a new challenge when you replay it years later with beard on your chin... and still make it playable for your 6-year old nephew.
